Default Maintain Item

In Sage, there is a costing field which, if it is not populated on the initial creation of a part number; will not allow updating. More precisely, you can update the specific screen with the data; it just won't flow through to the other related modules. If, when you are creating a part number and, for this field you originally leave the Std$ blank, and then go back and populate it in the future, it does NOT ever feed through to the PO Create screen. In its' current configuration, I ALWAYS have to input the price manually into the PO. This loses all the validation features that following this process is supposed to add.

** Down the menu path: Maintain Item -- Main screen -- Cost Evaluation section -- Standard Cost field **

Any feedback

Thanks

Martin
